We are the only active full service fawn rescue and rehabilitation center serving Placer, Yolo, Sacramento, and Nevada Counties. We operate under a permit from the California Department of Fish and Game. Our non-profit organization relies on your support and we do not receive funding from any federal, state or local government agency. We are managed and operated 100% by volunteers.

Each year we rescue, raise and release an average of 50 to 80 fawns. The average cost to care for a fawn is $6.00 per day. A rescued fawn will spend between 3 to 6 months under our care before it is healthy and strong enough to be returned back into the wild. If one does the math each fawn in care will cost between $500.00 to $1,000.00.

Please accept our invitation to partner with us in this important service to the public and wildlife.
